The Come Along is a little motor-boat or motor-tug with a noisy little engine in Coot Club, owned by Old Bob who is a little old sailor in a blue jersey. He is based in Yarmouth, and tows yachts around the Broads.

He gives a lift to Port and Starboard when they miss the Teasel (CC17), and at the end tows the Teasel, Titmouse and Death and Glory back to Acle Bridge, in time for Frank Farland’s yacht race (CC29).
