  • October 1994: First version of Arthur Ransome Page on World Wide Web (located at http://newton.otago.ac.nz:808/arthurpage.html in New Zealand.)
  • 1997:
    • beginning of the arthur-ransome.org website, originally called The Arthur Ransome Pages and located at www.arthur-ransome.org/ar, hosted by Humboldt Internet, as a follow-on to the previous one in New Zealand.
    • Arthur Ransome Club celebrates "10-Gong Festival" in Tokyo, Japan to mark its 10th anniversary
